Dad and me

November 23. 2020 my dads noble heart stopped beating forever. Cause of death COVID – 19. My dad and I were infected with COVID-19 at the same time. We had pneumonia. He died at the hospital on a respirator. I am by a game of fate she defeated COVID-19 and stayed alive. The biggest loss in my life is Dad’s death. I still can’t come to terms with the fact that he left that way.

My dad was an honest, noble and brave man. And I am his daughter and I will never be able to be any different, Because, after all, that’s how he raised me all my life. And me, I can’t be any different.

I feel the presence of my father’s soul. I know he’s still there next to me. And the calms me down a bit. Because the soul is eternal and never dies.

      1. I lost both my Mom and Dad in the last 4 years and it has been a process going through the grief. I miss them so much…and at times I completely forget and go to pick up the phone and for one split second it feels like they are still here. When the realization breaks through it is like a punch to my heart!
I think what helps is that I know they are both still with me…energetically…and they only want the best for me.
You hang in there…grief is like climbing a mountain.
        Sending good energy 😊🌻🧑

  4. This is a travesty. I am so sorry for your loss. I know from my own losses that what you say is true. Souls are indeed eternal. I hope his love continues to grow in your heart and that you still feel him with you. I know the pain of losing a parent. My mother died fairly suddenly of ALS three years ago. It’s been a journey. If you need anyone to talk to, I’m here.

  8. My father died suddenly too (I was 18). I understand your feelings of loss and grief. Remember your father’s love. And let yourself have times to sob your heart out. I wrote a book about him recently and that was such a good thing to do. Take care.
