Weekend in the mountains

Last weekend I spent in a small mountain village near a town. I was awakened by the barking of a dog on that property. Cold air entered through a half-open window. I went to the window and saw the mountains. They stood proudly, wildly and hid that magical beauty in themselves. The rays of the morning sun broke through the small white playful clouds.

I got dressed and went down to the beautiful courtyard. I liked the wonderful smell of morning dewy mountain flowers and the smell of freshly cut grass. Breakfast was waiting for me on the table. Fresh milk, honey,cream,half-fried goldencrispy bacon and the fresh smell of hot bread.

On the table lay a sunflower flower and a note. I sat down and took the flower in my hands. Those beautiful yellow petals shone in the sun. I curiously opened a note that read ,, Good morning, sleeper”.

The sunflower flower for me is a symbol of the sun, love, power and loyalty. That’s all I needed to start that wonderful May morning.
