Another wonderful restaurant in the heart of this beautiful city. What makes this restaurant always busy is the delicious dishes beautifully decorated. Friendly staff and above all great food, you will want to come back again.

My choice this time was the creamy “Tiramisu” cake. The interior is very modest and simple. The tables are made of wood, and there are always flowers on them.

There are various theories about the origin of “Tiramisu”. Tiramisu is an extremely creamy and delicious cake that conquers. It is prepared by restaurants and pastry shops all over the world.

The first theory about the origin of Tiramisu is that it was invented in the 1960s or 1970s, but where and when exactly is not clear. This famous cake was first mentioned in the middle of the twentieth century.

      1. Hey I asked my Nonna about Tiramisu. She said yes they were in Italy when it took off in 1974. She said she thought it came from Treviso cause she tried it there. It was all the rage. My husband makes it. It is fabulous.

  1. ‘LOVE tiramisu! Best I ever had was in a small Italian restaurant, owned and operated by an Italian family. Sadly, they closed and we moved away about the same time, twenty-plus years ago.   4. In effetti si è diffuso nelle case italiane agli inizi degli anni 70 conoscendo un boom negli anni 80, ma è ancora molto apprezzato per la facile preparazione casalinga. Noi lo si prepara in vassoi di almeno 30 cm x 45 cm (se ne avanza per il giorno dopo è ancora più buono 🙂 )
